We realize that everyone is at a different place in their spiritual journey and maturity. We are here to help each person discover how meaningful life can be when it is founded on faith, joy, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

THE ATMOSPHERE AT RIVER'S EDGE
The atmosphere for worship and ministry activities is informal and down to earth. River's Edge centers its ministry on the word of God and is open to a full expression of the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit.

EXCELLENCE AND INTEGRITY
If something is worth doing, it's worth doing right. We make every effort to minister with excellence and complete integrity. Whether it's worship, counseling, discipleship, teaching, prayer, or fun events, we strive to make each and every event meaningful and fulfilling.

SOME OF THE THINGS WE LOVE

We love children! River's Edge has a staff leader for Children's Ministry and wonderful facilities for children. On Sunday mornings at Promiseland, children are taught about the Lord and how to worship, pray, and live for Him!

We love students! Each Thursday evening we connect with middle and high school students from River's Edge and the community. Meetings on the first three Thursdays of each month are held on campus. A typical meeting includes worship, study of God's word, games, food, and fun. On the fourth Thursday evening there is always an outing.

We love praise and worship! We have praise and worship on Sunday mornings and every other Tuesday evening at a service called Facedown.

We love prayer! Prayer moves the heart of God. A prayer team meets before worship on Sunday mornings and continues to pray for people during the week. Prayer is also a significant part of the Facedown service on Tuesday evenings.

We love the Word of God! God's word never misleads us. It has wisdom and power like nothing else. The Word is a significant part of worship and Promiseland on Sunday mornings. It is also taught throughout the week at small groups, Men's Discipleship, Women's Bible Study, Student Ministry, Addicted to Christ, and at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

We love Jesus! No one is complete without Jesus Christ. He is the Savior who unburdens us from sin, and he is the Lord who lovingly and firmly guides us to abundant life. Without a doubt, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the greatest role model and friend that a person could ever have. That's why we worship him!

We love the Holy Spirit! Jesus promised his disciples that he would not leave them orphaned but would send them the Holy Spirit. Many churches downplay the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. Not at River's Edge. We know how much we need God's Spirit.

We love transformed lives! When a person really surrenders to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, their life begins to change in dramatic ways. Transformation is a sign that God has worked in us. We see so many lives totally changed by the Lord at River's Edge – and we give God all of the praise!

Last but not least, we love each other! Love is the foundation upon which everything else is built. River's Edge is a community where people are real and love is genuine.
