No matter how old a person is, God has a plan and purpose for them! This is as true for students as it is for anyone else. As the Bible says in 1st Timothy 4:12, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity."

God has put a passionate heart in the students at River’s Edge – to seek Jesus Christ, to be led by the Holy Spirit, to enthusiastically worship the Lord, and to pull everything they can from the word of God. "God First" is the life our students strive for – whether they are at school, at home, or at River's Edge.

Each Thursday night, Middle and High School students from our church and community get together from 6:30 – 8:30 to hang out, have fun, and most importantly, grow in their faith. Meetings on the first three Thursdays of each month are held on campus in the Student Center. A typical meeting includes worship, study of God's word, games, food, and fun. On the fourth Thursday evening there is always an outing.

Annually we attend Acquire the Fire in Tampa.
